Composer, author, singer, guitarist, ROMEU MELO DE SOUZA was born in Serra dos Aimorés, South Brazil, State of Bahia, on 1982.

Always passionate about music, he began his musical career in 2008, in the districts of São Paulo. In 2016 he participated as a musician at the Rio Olympics in Copacabana (Olimpiadás Rio 2016). In 2017 he is a shift worker throughout Brazil and from 2018 to 2020 in South America.

He meets Simona Palumbo throughout Instagram and her social media and he’s passionate at first sight about her way of singing Bossanova and MPB. Immediately begun a remote collaboration of musical and video exchanges (live 2021 youtube channel – “VELHA INFANCIA”, Tribalistas)  that will soon result in a live collaboration in France, in Dijon, where Romeu has lived with his wife since 2020. The video song is selected by the Simona’s producers to be inserted in her album “Latin duets” (2022, Egea Music/Fraghola Entertainment).
